OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Occupational therapy may involve specific exercises to help patients maintain strength and dexterity. It also can involve helping patients learn how to use adaptive devices to manage activities of daily living, such as cooking or bathing. Occupational therapists may also recommend special equipment or changes that can be made in he classroom or workplace to help people with progressive muscle weakness functio in these environments.
